A beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff and perfect location for exploring central Lisbon. Breakfasts were excellent and had a wide variety. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.

It’s in a great central location. The staff were friendly, welcoming and paid attention to detail, remembering names and how we liked our coffee in the morning. The building is unique and full if character, preserving historical features, fitted with high quality fittings and most comfortable inside.

Pousada is a hidden gem yet extremely well placed for sightseeing. The Lisbon Info Centre, bus stops and Metro line are nearby and many main sights in old Lisboa are in walking distance. Staff were very welcoming and helpful with small things ie assisted with taxi on departure and took luggage to vehicle around the corner. I enjoyed a classic, stylish, spacious and quiet room (3rd floor) excuding calm and relaxation. I appreciated the coffee machine, continuous supply of bottles of water (hot weather) and little chocolate treats offered late afternoon. The marble bathroom gave off a cool feeling too (good shower over bath). The breakfast service was exceptional. Very attentive staff, great variety of interesting staples and gourmet foods on the buffet as well as a la carte offerings. I enjoyed a lovely dinner at their Beef and Wine restaurant (showcasing Portuguese beef) outside under the colonnades overlooking Praca do Comercio. Friends had recommended the Pousada de Lisboa and it was a great treat for my last days in Europe.

We requested our rooms to be ready earlier than the 3 p.m. time because our flight arrived at 11 am. We were not promised but were surprised that the rooms were ready at 1 p.m. Very professional, informative and happy staff. We also asked for recommendations for a dining experience. They took the time to walk us to the restaurant! Great location. Just outside the hotel were plenty of outdoor restaurants, the square, and optional tours to take of Lisbon. We were taking a cruise the following day and were surprised that we could talk to our ship: Norwegian Viva.

The service was amazing .. the staff was so friendly and supportive! We had som travel issues we needed help adjusting .. from re adjusting our dates ( we were there for total of 10 days) to support with rental cars and late luggage.. they were exceptional! The property was clean… comfortable and perfect walking location to daily and nightly entertainment. I will book with this hotel again and refer many! Thanks mostly to the staff for making our family trip memorable!

The room was a good size, beautifully decorated, and with quality linens and towels. Breakfast was an appetising choice of hot and cold buffet selections as well as an a la carte menu of specials. Located on the top floor, our room was very quiet despite the central location and the outside patio area was a real bonus. The pool was small but never busy and the sauna was the perfect way to relax after a day's sightseeing. All of the staff were very attentive and everything was immaculate.

The location is very convenient. The room was small but adequate. The bed was incredibly comfortable with a number of different types of pillows. Breakfast had a wide variety of foods available, which were quite good.

The understated elegance and the quality of the finish and decoration. This is something of a hidden gem where the look and feel of a classic building is preserved without compromise to the modern facilities expected in a luxury destination. Really attentive and friendly staff. Really good buffet breakfast in a spacious and bright dining area. They do the best poached eggs.
